Roasted Nuts Chopping Machine BCM400

Technical details

BCM400 industrial nut chopping machine for controlled size reduction of whole roasted nuts into calibrated, free-flowing granules.

Two-stage cutting — a pre-crushing section reduces whole nuts to fragments, and a guillotine cutting section with 8–10 knives slices fragments to target granule size with minimal oil release.

A vibratory sieve classifies output into 4 calibrated size fractions for chocolate inclusions, confectionery and bakery toppings, and as a pre-refining feed before ball mill refining for praline and nut paste.

Guillotine slicing keeps roasted-nut fat (60% in hazelnuts, 50% in almonds) inside the granule, where hammer mills and impact crushers would crush cells and release oil that smears and clumps.

Not suitable for raw or high-moisture nuts, in-shell nuts, or paste output.

Roasted Nuts Chopping Machine BCM400

BCM400 roasted nuts chopping machine with pre-crushing section and guillotine cutting section (8–10 knives) for roasted nuts and dry biscuit inclusions. Vibratory sieve classifies output into 4 calibrated size fractions: feeds chocolate inclusion mixers (medium to coarse fractions) or pre-chops whole roasted nuts before ball mill refining for praline and nut paste (fine to medium fractions). Guillotine slicing minimises oil release and produces free-flowing granules. AISI 304 stainless steel, 200–400 kg/h, 380 V three-phase, 3 kW. Not suitable for raw or high-moisture nuts, in-shell nuts, or paste output.

Cutting process
Two-stage: pre-crushing section + guillotine cutting section
Cutting principle
Guillotine slicing (shearing force, not impact) to minimise oil release

8–10 knives in guillotine cutting section
Output form
Free-flowing dry granules (fat retained inside granule)
Classification
Vibratory sieve, 4 calibrated size fractions; oversize returns for second cut
Application — inclusions
Medium to coarse fractions feed inclusion mixer for nut-included chocolate
Application — pre-refining
Fine to medium fractions feed ball mill refiner for praline and nut paste
Suitable products
