Technical details
BCM400 industrial nut chopping machine for controlled size reduction of whole roasted nuts into calibrated, free-flowing granules.
Two-stage cutting — a pre-crushing section reduces whole nuts to fragments, and a guillotine cutting section with 8–10 knives slices fragments to target granule size with minimal oil release.
A vibratory sieve classifies output into 4 calibrated size fractions for chocolate inclusions, confectionery and bakery toppings, and as a pre-refining feed before ball mill refining for praline and nut paste.
Guillotine slicing keeps roasted-nut fat (60% in hazelnuts, 50% in almonds) inside the granule, where hammer mills and impact crushers would crush cells and release oil that smears and clumps.
Not suitable for raw or high-moisture nuts, in-shell nuts, or paste output.
